David Brazier (Dharmavidya): David is a Buddhist priest, head of the Amida Order and the senior tutor on the programme. He has taught on the therapy training programme since 1981 when he co-founded its predecessor, Eigenwelt Studies. Author of seven books, including Zen Therapy, David teaches, travels and writes on Buddhism and psychology. He speaks regularly at international conferences and has given workshops in many countries. Prior to the foundation of the programme David worked in social work, social work management, community work and psychiatric social work. David holds a PhD and is trained in Psychodrama. David has three children and three grandchildren.
Susthama Kim MBACP is a qualified counsellor and has several years experience working as a hospital chaplain in mental health. She is a member of the Amida Order and is is the lead person for the community counselling and therapy centre being developed by IZT at its base in London, Sukhavati House.
Fiona Robyn has been a therapist since 1997. She has a BA in Psychology, and an advanced diploma in counselling and is about to complete her pscyhotherapy training with Amida Trust. Fiona is a lay member of the Amida Order. She is BACP accredited. She also runs Writing Our Way Home.
Andy Paice is a Life Coach trained with PCI and ORSC UK. Andy lived for nine years as a Buddhist monastic in France, runs a regular meditation group and leads retreats. He is currently offering one to one Life Coaching sessions through the Counselling and Therapy Centre run by IZT and is involved in facilitating workshops and seminars.
