Saturday March 24th: ZT OPEN FORUM: Exploring themes in Zen and Therapy Dharmavidya David Brazier and Jnanamati Williams
This is the first of a series of open forums providing the opportunity for therapy students, Buddhists, psychotherapists and IZT members to come together to explore and dialogue about the key themes of zen and therapy. Through this forum IZT is opening a creative space in which new directions in therapy theory and practice can be explored and developed. Zen Therapy, David Braziers influential book, can be seen in this context as a stepping off point, a textual reference to engender constructive debate and dialogue about the multi layered relationships between Buddhist psychology, Eastern philosophy and Western traditions of psychotherapy.
Information: 9.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. at Sukhavati House. Cost: by donation (suggested amount £15). For more information or to book contact jnanamati@gmail.com

What is the daimonic? Any natural function which has the power to take over the whole person, an archetypal function of human experience, and an existential reality.
